POSITION SUMMARY

Packagers support our customers by filling and packaging our special orders. They must be reliable and able to take direction, but more importantly be able to see what needs to be done, prioritize their time, and maintain a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

JOB DUTIES

The Special Packaging position is responsible for tasks including, but not limited to:

• Accurately sorting, picking, and packaging orders
• Accurately counting finished products using a counting scale
• Performing daily calibration of counting scales
• Ensuring the proper labeling and storage of inventory and packaging materials
• Adherence to quality control procedures
• Sweeping, moping, and general housekeeping of work area

This position regularly requires lifting throughout the workday, periods of standing/sitting, and repetitive loading/unloading motions.

EXPERIENCE: Education, Training and Expectations

• High school diploma
• Able to accurately read/follow written instructions & perform simple mathematical calculations
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently, as well as within a team
• Basic computer skills a plus, but not a requirement
• The ability to multitask and a strong attention to detail
• Always performs assignments safely
• Completes the training that qualifies the individual to perform the duties of operating the machines, equipment, and the use of the necessary materials
• Utilizes the appropriate personal communication and interaction skills required to work with others in a team-based environment to achieve team and company goals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
