JOB SUMMARY:


Manages day to day parking enforcement operations for Parking and Transportation Services and reports directly to the Senior Associate Director of Parking Operations within the Parking and Transportation Services department. Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:


25% - Essential - Administration:
Oversee the parking enforcement program for Parking and Transportation Services. Serves as the primary trainer for License Plate Recognition (LPR) system, T2 Enforcement App, and meter payment history, receipt paper replacement and troubleshooting. Direct, coordinate and review the work strategy for enforcement of parking regulations. Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems; assign work activities and projects; monitor workflow; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures.

20% - Essential - Supervision:
Acts as the primary parking enforcement officer. Coordinate, schedule, and supervise day-to-day parking enforcement staff members to ensure an adequate parking enforcement presence at times deemed necessary by PATS leadership. Assist in establishing, training, and managing a team of parking enforcement employees. Train, motivate and evaluate parking enforcement personnel; provide and coordinate staff training; work with employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline and termination procedures.

20% - Essential - Operations:
Assist Parking and Transportation Services leadership in formulating, coordinating, and administering policies and procedures relating to parking enforcement. Works closely with the Sr. Associate Director of Parking Operations in coordinating and reviewing enforcement plans daily, weekly and during events. Must have extensive knowledge of the University's parking rules and regulations, as well as the parking lots.

20% - Essential - Special Events:
Responsible for overseeing parking enforcement staff during special events (i.e., home football games, graduations, move-in). Ensures compliance with university, state, and federal policies, and that all services are delivered efficiently, reliably, and with service excellence to the Clemson University communities.

15% - Essential - Enforcement:
On call and available for addressing questions and/or problems that may arise during all shifts. Assist in identifying and removing abandoned vehicles and bicycles. Participate in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of parking enforcement.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Education - High School or Equivalent - and experience in computer operations or a related field.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION


Anticipate Salary Range ($ 38,985.00 - $ 55,559.00)


Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.


ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL


Normal Operations

Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
