Overview
Part-time Receptionist/Social Media Assistant needed for hair salon in Lincoln, NE. Social Media skills are required.

Our styling team is a very friendly group of people. It's important for this position to be filled by a self-starter with a positive attitude. We need a cheerful person - as you will be the first face customers & associates see when entering the office.

There are two major duties

1) Social Media Duties

Create engaging content for social media platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement. Skilled knowledge of social media platforms such as: Instagram & Facebook. Must be able to create Reels & posts on social media using Canva and other platforms.

2)Receptionist/Assistant

Light cleaning, answering a two line phone system, taking messages, greeting & assisting customers & stylists, creating flyers through Canva, making coffee, restocking office supplies, and using Google docs and sheets.

Requirements

· High School Diploma

· Excellent grammar and writing skills

· Excellent written & verbal communication skills

· Strong attention to detail & proofreading abilities

· Social media savvy (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

· Must be friendly and greet people with confidence

· Programs you will use include: Canva, Instagram, Google Docs, Google Sheets.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10-15 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness
- Create engaging content for multiple social media platforms
- Manage social media accounts and communities
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content performance
- Collaborate with the management on integrated campaigns
- Utilize Canva for design
- Coordinate advertising campaigns on social media platforms
- Engage in public relations activities to enhance brand reputation

Experience
Required:
- Experience in social media
- Proficiency in content creation and copywriting

- Excellent grammer

Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with customer service
- Background in branding

- Understanding of digital marketing principles

Qualifications
- Proficiency in social media

- Familiarity with office environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Job Type: Part-time
