Department: Butler County Courthouse

Status: Part-Time Non-Exempt

Salary: Competitive, Commensurate with Experience

A Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. The Custodian is responsible for a range of duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all occupants. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Performing facilities maintenance tasks such as buffing, residential painting, commercial cleaning, floor care, and industrial cleaning.
- Maintaining cleanliness by sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, and washing windows.
- Keeping areas tidy and presentable.
- Ensuring proper upkeep of all areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Handling custodial tasks to support overall building maintenance.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, custodial work, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices.
- Ability to perform tasks such as buffing, residential painting, and commercial cleaning effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends if needed.
