******** PART TIME POSITION ********

The UPS Store has an opening for a mature, motivated, responsible individual seeking a challenging position in customer service. This position offers 10-15 hours per week, good for students or freshly graduated. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and computer skills are a must. Knowledge of Adobe Suites and Microsoft Office products is a definite plus. Position requires ability to operate copiers, scanners, printers, fax machines, etc.

Flexible hours - This position is good for someone who is looking for side job or students who wants to work for a few hours after school.

Responsibilities

• He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time
• This requires strong interpersonal skills, effective oral/written communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Computer application knowledge, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), is recommended and may be required
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
• Physical requirements include the ability to stand for several hours at a time and ability to lift 50-75+ lbs
• Print and copy knowledge
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
• Take the extra mile to engage customers

Skills

• Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• High school degree

Salary: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
