Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

CAP Elevator is a family-owned, independent elevator company, focused on all aspects of elevator and escalator service, repair, modernization, and new construction. We use a combination of industry experience, professional training, and technology to serve our clients throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.

We are looking for a PART-TIME delivery driver / warehouse associate (hours could evolve to full time in the future).

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 5-6 hours a day depending on the work load.

Job Description -

• Loading, transporting, and delivering elevator equipment to job sites in a safely and timely manner.
• Keeping inventory of parts and tools using QR scanning and software.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, vans, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Delivery Driver Requirements -

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items.
• Attention to detail
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Medical card for driving DOT equipment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Shift:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

Work Location: On the road
