Job Summary:
Are you looking for a part-time position that offers a great work-life balance in a fun, relaxed environment? We're searching for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the dentist and hygienist in providing high-quality patient care, as well as maintaining the clinic's cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist and hygienist with patient exams, cleanings, and procedures, including taking X-rays and performing 3D scans as needed.
- Prepare patients for treatments by reviewing their medical records and dental history, and ensuring they are comfortable and prepared for the procedure.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout the clinic, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and infection control.
- Assist in the dental receptionist role, greeting patients, answering phone calls, and managing front desk operations.
- Provide dental terminology to patients, answering their questions and alleviating any concerns they may have.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software to manage patient records and schedule appointments.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and improve the overall quality of care provided by the clinic.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, always prioritizing patient comfort and satisfaction.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in Dentrix software and the ability to learn and use other dental software as needed.
- Experience with 3D scanners and X-ray technology.
- Ability to maintain aseptic technique and adhere to the highest standards of hygiene and infection control.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.
- Bilingual is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
