Performs a variety of administrative and customer service activities to assist the Operations Department with appointment scheduling and customer service/dispatch functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Timely enters available loads in the computer with all required information to properly dispatch and pick up the load, create the freight bill and supply the customer with any EDI information required.
* Assists Operations Associates with daily workload to include dispatching trucks and booking loads as needed.
* Performs special projects as assigned.
* Receives and carries out instructions.
* Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
* Ability to read, write, talk, see and hear.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. as required.
* General knowledge and proficient use of a computer and computer programs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
