We are seeking a dynamic and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team for the 3 PM to 11 PM shift.

Position Overview: The Front Desk Agent is the face of our hotel and plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our guests. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest inquiries, and providing assistance throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests upon arrival and during their stay. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservation details.
  • Reservations and Booking Management: Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the hotel management system. Assist guests with room selections and provide information on room rates and hotel amenities.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively. Ensure guest satisfaction by providing appropriate solutions and follow-up.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest requests are fulfilled.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties such as updating guest records, managing room inventory, and preparing daily reports. Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and adhere to security protocols.
  • Safety and Security: Monitor the hotel premises and ensure the safety and security of guests and staff. Follow emergency procedures as needed and report any incidents or hazards to the appropriate authorities.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on local attractions, dining options, and transportation. Assist guests with special requests and arrangements to enhance their stay.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Technology: Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work the 3 PM to 11 PM shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
