Established family/urgent care practice with three offices has a part-time opportunity available in our Flemington office. We are seeking one experienced medical receptionist to work in our office. Weekend availability a must. The successful candidate enjoys interacting with patients and is meticulous about his/her work.

Candidate should be able to work in a busy office setting and have the ability to prioritize workload while ultimately keeping the best interests of the patients in mind. Ideal candidate must be reliable, have strong computer skills, have ability to multitask, and be a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus. Experience with NextGen EHR preferred but not required.

Must be available to work rotating weekends and two holidays per year.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accurately checking in and checking out patients in an expedient manner while providing excellent customer service, compassion, and kindness
• Verifying all patient demographic and insurance information
• Collection co-payments and issuing receipts for a patient's visit
• Scanning medical documents and office forms as directed
• Scheduling appointments
• Ensuring a positive and professional atmosphere as a team player
