Chrysalis Part Time Weekend Treatment Specialist
position description
- Train residents in basic living skills related to personal hygiene, laundry, housekeeping, money management, shopping, healthy lifestyle, medication management, and behavior education as outlined in Chapter 105 of the Medicaid Rehab Manual
- Attend training sessions which are held from time to time in-house and participates in monthly mandatory staff meetings
- Perform bedroom and bathroom checks, determine if residents have performed responsibilities appropriately
- Implement behavior management procedures, individual treatment plans, behavioral intervention plans, and residential treatment interventions as recommended by Management Team
- Attend training sessions which are held from time to time in-house and participates in monthly mandatory staff meetings
- Assist residents in housekeeping tasks of cleaning, sweeping and mopping kitchen, living room, and hallways and various other assigned responsibilities and provides feedback to residents regarding their responsibilities
- Responsible for keeping assigned building(s) and vehicle(s) clean, safe, functional, and secure in accordance with prescribed codes and established policies and standards
- Responsible for maintaining all assigned building(s) and vehicle(s) in a state of operational excellence such that they present no interruptions, distractions, or obstacles to the program
- Organize materials required to assist residents with daily activities
- Transport residents to and from school or appointments as needed
- Monitor afternoon schedules assisting residents in afternoon chores, meal preparation and study hall
- Monitor resident behavior during meal-time and assists as required with meal preparation and menu planning
- Chart daily activities for each individual resident providing the resident with feedback for daily behavioral patterns
- Complete shift reporting as required by Management Team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Documented physical health adequate to participate in activities with residents
- Minimum age of twenty-one
- Training and/or experience in child development issues

Salary: $13.00-16.00 per hour based on education and experience
