Immediate Opening - Part Time Youth Educator - Think, Act, Grow (TAG) Program

Schedule: 18-22 hours per week, including Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 3-7 p.m.

Reports to: Coordinator of Youth Services

Location: Newton, New Jersey

General Summary: TAG provides a comprehensive continuum of services utilizing evidence based, informed and influenced programs for at-risk and/or court involved youth in Sussex County. The youth educator position involves assisting with psycho-educational groups for juveniles on Tuesday and Thursday from 3 pm to 7pm. Additional hours to include conducting weekly case management for program participants along with completing required documentation, engaging with program participants parents/guardians by conducting weekly parent check-in group, and conducting regular phone and in-person and/or virtual collateral contact with court and other referral sources. Additional responsibilities may include conducting anger management/conflict resolution groups in Sussex County schools as needed during school hours. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. Experience working with youth a plus.
