The Parts Warehouse & Counter Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, efficiently processing orders, and ensuring the overall organization and functionality of the warehouse. In addition, this role will at times assist with ensuring our customers needs are met including ordering parts, answering customer questions, and identifying parts needed. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to providing quality service to our customers.
SCHEDULE: The standard work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. However, it's important to be aware that, as an hourly employee, there may be instances when you will be required to work beyond these hours to fulfill the job requirements, leading to overtime pay.

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/PROFICIENCIES – Satisfactorily achieving and/or meeting the following Experience, Competencies, and Proficiencies that are essential duties of the job:
· Experience and/or Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehousing is a plus.
· Computer Skills: The employee must be proficient with computers and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of this position. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Previous experience in warehouse operations or parts handling is preferred.
· Forklift operation certification is a plus.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
· Strong written and oral communication.
· Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to conduct equipment inspections.
· Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
· Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
· Proven ability to complete work with energy and enthusiasm.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS – Being able to meet the Physical Demands of the job is an essential duty of the job.
· While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
· The position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods.
· Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, keyboards, and telephones.
· Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for tasks such as typing, filing, and handling paperwork.
· Visual acuity and ability to read and interpret documents.
· The position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
