PARTS SALES MANAGER
The Parts Sales Manager - Mississippi Region directs the sales activities of the Parts Sales Team by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all salespeople in Mississippi
- Encourages a safe working environment
- Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs
- Establishes annual and monthly objectives for sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit
- Monitors salesperson productivity and performance
- Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs
- Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs, and volume potential, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the Mississippi dealerships
- Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Attends managers meetings as requested
- Other tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Detail/customer oriented
- Excellent follow up and communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and adapt to constantly changing priorities
- General computer knowledge and a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Displays a “can-do” attitude that focuses on accountability and solutions
- Self-motivated
- Must display excellent leadership skills
- Must be willing to travel weekly within the state of Mississippi
- Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
