Job Description

PARTS SALES MANAGER

The Parts Sales Manager - Mississippi Region directs the sales activities of the Parts Sales Team by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all salespeople in Mississippi
  • Encourages a safe working environment
  • Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs
  • Establishes annual and monthly objectives for sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit
  • Monitors salesperson productivity and performance
  • Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs
  • Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs, and volume potential, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the Mississippi dealerships
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Attends managers meetings as requested
  • Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Detail/customer oriented
  • Excellent follow up and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and adapt to constantly changing priorities
  • General computer knowledge and a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Displays a “can-do” attitude that focuses on accountability and solutions
  • Self-motivated
  • Must display excellent leadership skills
  • Must be willing to travel weekly within the state of Mississippi
  • Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
