Payroll Accounting Reconciliation Specialist, Indianapolis, IN

REPORTS TO/TERM:

Director of Accounting

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

A Reconciliation Specialist will be required to perform the following:

• Work harmoniously as a valued accounting team member to provide payroll accounting services
• Use appropriate Chart of Accounts to code new employees or change existing employees in payroll system
• Track and reconcile all employee withholding accounts and other benefits accounts monthly
• Work with the Payroll Department to resolve any outstanding reconciliation items
• Work in the Accounting department to assist with other reconciliations and duties as required for financial reporting and auditing

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Desire to work for a mission driven organization; making a difference in the lives of children and families
• Knowledge of Accounting and Payroll 3-5 years experience
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Payroll accounting
• Extremely professional attitude
• Excellent analytical skills

• Self-starter with strong work ethic
• High degree of confidentiality
