About the job:
We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator for the Office of Financial Management (OFM), Office of the Governor, and the Office of Independent Investigations (OII) for the timely and accurate processing of payroll, benefits, time and attendance related documents for employees of these agencies.
As a Payroll Coordinator you will need to have a journey level understanding and working ability required to process day-to-day payroll actions, updates, and multiple functions related to employee payroll, time, leave, misc. deductions and benefits. You will need to be up to date on state, federal, and other various state reporting requirements related to employee benefits, tax reporting, and other employee payroll and benefits related items.
Note: This is a hybrid position where you have the option to work from home; however, you must also be available to come in person (to Olympia) when needed for team meetings, and to interpret in-person per staff requests.
