**First Call Medical Solutions (FCMS) is hiring experienced CBRF Caregivers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts in the Milwaukee, WI Area**
First Call Medical Solutions has been providing Healthcare Staffing and Employment Solutions in Wisconsin since 1994 and we are woman-owned and locally operated. We view ourselves as partners with our Clients in the delivery of exceptional and professional medical care.
Job Type: Full-time; Part-time; Weekends; Overtime
- 8-16 hour shifts
- 4-7 hour shifts
- Temp-to-Hire, Long/Short-term Contracts, and Permanent Placement at our Clients are available
- Sunday – Saturday AM, PM, & Overnight (NOC)
- Weekends and Holidays (Both paid at a premium rate)
Candidates must have successfully completed all four (4) sections of the CBRF Caregiver Training and be certified and listed in the UW-Green Bay Registry. The ideal candidate will have a professional and compassionate attitude and appearance and will be patient, friendly, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to aid the residents/patients.
***If you do not have all 4 certifications! We have an Instructor on staff - classes are available immediately! Become fully certified in less than one week!***
CBRF Caregiver Job Duties:
- Assist residents with ambulation and mobility
- Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
- Help residents with physical therapy exercises, as needed
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, clean-up (varies by Client)
- Housekeeping duties (varies by Client)
- Be pleasant and supportive to the Residents
- Report any unusual incidents
- Full Medication Pass at some Clients
- Accurately and timely charting as required by the Client
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Help Residents take prescribed medication (varies by client)
Skills Needed:
- Proven experience as a CBRF Caregiver – prefer 1-2 years
- Completion of CBRF Caregiver Training and accredited in the WI CBRF Training Registry
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping tasks
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards to protect the residents/patients
- Respectful and compassionate
- Excellent time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old to apply
- Reliable Vehicle
- Working Cell phone with Voicemail that is regularly emptied
- Current TB Screening (within one year)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work at multiple locations
