The Performance Marketing Manager delivers exceptional quality advertising products and Five Diamond service that meets business line expectations for quality, accuracy, timeliness and cost. This position ensures external advertising media plan is executed on time and on budget and works closely with Marketing leadership team to continuously evaluate performance of external agencies and recommends new workflows for improved time management and cost efficiencies.
What you will do:
Works in conjunction with media planning team to develop and execute customized plans for each business line to reach business goals and deliver optimized performance.
Provides leadership to the staff responsible for executing all digital media buys (including SEM, social, display, programmatic, OOH, CTV/TV, streaming audio, etc.) from campaign development, budgetary requirements, goal setting, and tagging/tracking, through to data ingestion and reporting.
Ensures proper resources and training to all team members with a focus on development and building bench strength while also complying with appropriate professional standards, laws, regulations and operating within the Clubs mission, leadership values and the members interest.
Strategizes with identified stakeholders to develop and optimize digital media campaigns for both performance and scale. Ensure media efficiencies, targeting and segmentation across business lines and channels.
Coordinates data connections from various first, second, and third-party sources. This includes integrations for use in identifying and targeting audience segments and collecting and sharing campaign performance data to ensure alignment with Club strategies, processes and Member First philosophy.
Build and continuously improve upon the operation of an in-house media agency by defining the processes, vendors, and resources needed to successfully deliver all media services, or contract with external vendors to deliver portions not deliverable by the team.
Implement budget tracking and forecasting to ensure efficient use of resources.
Acts as primary contact with managed service partners, as needed.
Works directly with business line leadership to ensure a cohesiveness between digital and non-digital media efforts.
Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging platforms to recommend innovative strategies.
Any other tasks necessary to achieve individual and/or organizational success or as directed.
Salary: The pay range for this position in Rhode Island is $88,000.00 - $106,750.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Annual bonuses are some of the additional forms of compensation offered. What you need:
Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field, Master's degree preferred
6+ years experienceprogressively responsible paid media campaign management with demonstrated outcomes.
4+ years years of experience managing a team of paid media professionals.
Successful management of full-funnel media strategy from planning and operations to forecasting, audience targeting, data collection, optimizations and budget management.
Experience in multi-channel test & learn environments for constant strategic evolution.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, prioritize, and manage time.
Adobe Advertising and Adobe Analytics experience preferred but not required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good organizational skills and time management.
