Job Summary:

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

2. Interpreting and reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness

3. Providing drug information to patients and healthcare professionals

4. Monitoring patient drug therapies and identifying any potential drug interactions

5. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans

6. Maintaining accurate patient records and medication inventory

7. Providing excellent customer service to patients

8. Educating patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree

2. Active pharmacy license in the state of practice

3. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication therapy management

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

5. Attention to detail and accuracy

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

7. Strong organizational skills

8. Experience working in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred
