Job Duties and Responsibilities: DISH Wireless seeks a Principal Product Manager to spearhead the development, launch, and management of new products and services within our portfolio. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights to understand the US market, competitive landscape, and customer demand drivers. You'll develop business cases, oversee product conception to market launch, and ensure a top-tier customer experience. Operating at the nexus of technology and business, you'll dive into the details while keeping customer value and experience at the forefront.
In this role, you will:
- Understand market needs, competitive landscape, and Dish's product positioning.
- Set product priorities and time-to-market goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Engage with technical teams to develop necessary functionality across systems.
- Define and deliver Minimum Viable Product through prioritization and timeline management.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for value proposition and differentiation.
- Collaborate effectively and advocate for action.
- Demonstrate expertise in wireless product solutions, industry trends, and technology.
As a successful Principal Enterprise Product Manager, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, MBA, or equivalent practical experience
- Over 10 years of product management experience in wireless or internet services
- Proven expertise in the US enterprise networking market, with previous roles in networking equipment or service providers
- Comprehensive knowledge of the US wireless market, including carrier perspectives and wireless device software
- Proficiency in product discovery and validation methods, such as customer journey mapping and prototyping
- Desired familiarity with emerging security principles in wireless and IT environments.
