Position Summary:

The Produce Specialist is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product. The Produce Specialist maintains department conditions, to include proper ordering, inventory, production, and food safety standards in the produce area. The Produce Specialist provides product knowledge and expertise to our customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to represent and support Big Y’s culture of caring while living our Mission & Vision.

• Must be proficient in ordering for the entire sales areas of the Produce department.
• Must project a clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
