Desired Skills/Experience:

• Hands on Experience (current or past) working in an Engineering role on-in-around systems:
  • experience surrounding PLC Technology (ladder logic, network connectivity to PLC's, mechanical system connectivity to PLC's, electrical system connectivity to PLC's OR
  • OR​​​ experience​​​ surrounding Automation and Process Control Software and related Data: SCADA, DCS, HMI, Process Control, MES, MEP or related software
• Experience working in a similar Product Focused role where you have been the key-go-to-person for new products and customizations to existing products in areas including: product look and feel; connectivity/communication with other systems; working closely with other teams (Engineering, Marketing, Sales, External Clients, Finance, Manufacturing) in order to create best-of-breed ideas-suggestions-recommendations for both New Product Releases and Releases of Upgrades/Updates/Customizations to existing products.
• Experience creating presentations, demonstrations, POC's to technical and non-technical team members including C-Level and VP-Level executive management
• Experience with concepts such as design feasibility as related to product manufacturability, use, repair, updates
• Solid Business/Industry Acumen, Technical-Engineering Expertise (PLC or Automation-Software) and Excellent Communication skills.
• Should be familiar with most of the following: user sensitivities/concerns/needs, logical approach to design, Product Development LifeCyle and Roadmap, performance-metrics-data reporting, competitive intelligence/external client intelligence, creativity in problem solving (coming up with workarounds and compromises for stakeholder acceptance/end user buy-in).
• Experience communicating (building relationships) with stakeholders (including Engineering/R&D, External Clients and Users, Sales/Marketing) on an ongoing basis.
• A College Degree in Electrical Engineering or a Related Discipline is Preferred.
