Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. The Production Coordinator will support the Production Supervisor in managing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity on the production floor. This role serves as a vital link between various departments to streamline processes and achieve production targets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for career advancement to a Production Supervisor role based on performance and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Supervision: Support the Production Supervisor in overseeing production activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Coordinate production schedules, manage workflow, and ensure timely completion of production targets.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize production processes.
  • Quality Control: Monitor production processes and implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, prepare reports, and provide updates to management on production performance and issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training production staff and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production activities adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between production staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in production management or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with some supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
