What does a successful Production Supervisor do?

Fiserv is your single source provider for print and plastic manufacturing, personalization, fulfillment, and packaging services. We ensure the highest printing quality, exceptional service, timely delivery, and capacity to meet the needs of any size issuer, from small runs to quantities in the millions.

As a Production Supervisor at Fiserv, you will manage a team in our print or plastics production facility. You will collaborate closely with customers and suppliers, and delegate work to associates to achieve the appropriate level of volume within the time limits.

What you will do:

• Manage operational activities by reviewing, prioritizing, and assigning all outgoing orders

• Ensure maximum processing to meet legal and contractual obligations

• Develop, refine, and implement policies and procedures to optimize personnel and equipment resources

• Lead team performance to meet or exceed company goals and objectives by providing on-going development of direct reports through timely coaching and counseling, positive reinforcement, and honest, direct feedback

• Full product accountability, including monitor external defects, incident reports, adhere to client service level agreements, monitor liability issues and escalate to management when appropriate

• Provide coaching and mentoring for team, driving for operational results

• Foster positive relationships with the team and internal departments

• Control liability exposure, communicates enhancements and improvements to processes when they are rolled out to the organization

• Ensure team adheres to established policy and procedures

What you will need to have:

• HS diploma/equivalent required.

• 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in operations/production environment required

What would be great to have:

• Associate degree in Business Administration or related field

• Experience in coaching and developing employees

• Experience in being a critical decision maker in a fast-paced environment.

• A team player that works well with others but can also work independently

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
