Manufacturing – Production Worker – Temporary, Part Time

What We're Looking For:

  • You prioritize a safe workplace for everyone and understand, support, and execute all work in a safe manner and contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority.
  • You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing plant environment and learn new tasks and adapt to frequent job duty changes as required by business or manpower demands.
  • You're obsessed with precision and top-notch quality work and can complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet operational expectations.
  • Staying precise with tools, machinery, and equipment such as a tugger to load, unload, transfer and move materials within the assembly plant. This equipment could operate at heights of up to 35 feet.
  • You’re able to read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures.
  • Ready to grow, cooperate, and contribute to our dynamic team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortably wear personal protective equipment
  • Navigate a busy environment
  • Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
  • May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department
  • Occasional sitting during certain tasks
  • Drive mobile equipment when needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • 18+ years old.
  • Flexible shift availability.
  • Availability to work a maximum of 32 hours per week.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements which includes drug testing and a background check.
  • Proficiency to listen, read, follow work and safety instructions.

  • Shift Premiums: Because this role will require 100% shift flexibility, we will provide shift premiums for those who embrace the challenge during unconventional hours = 5% shift premium for 2nd shift and 10% for 3rd shift.
