The ideal candidate can manage relationships with business, education, and community leaders and is able to manage multiple projects with ease. The candidate will communicate in a strong, positive, and effective manner, both verbally and non-verbally, and be a self-starter with the ability to sustain and move work forward with minimal direction. All MAC employees are expected to work collaboratively with other MAC departments and be team players to help accomplish our organizational mission. This position is partially funded through a 26-month grant with, upon successful completion of grant objectives, a possibility for renewal.

  • Collaboratively manage communications processes for MAC investors participating in the intern program
  • This position may involve interaction with minors and diverse individuals. Strict adherence to MAC policies is required.
  • Collect and report on program metrics to MAC leadership and provide necessary grant reports on programmatic activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Communications and writing skills for both internal and external audiences
  • Analytic, problem-solving skills that show your ability to balance goal achievement with a high quality of work
  • Networking skills, outgoing personality, and one-on-one relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of education and/or workforce systems including higher education and community organizations

Desired Skills:

  • Strong project management skills and/or project manage certification
  • Ability to work in teams and across departments while managing both solo and team projects in conjunction with overall MAC goals
