Role Overview:

The Proposals Content Manager is responsible for generating and maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date library of generic proposal foundation material for IGT’s complete set of products.

As IGT looks to deploy new technologies such as AI to improve the proposal development, the Proposals Content Manager will assume responsibility for the library of material that the tool ingests and will become the lead user of the tool, providing support to the writing team as they implement the new technology.

The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and the desire to work in an environment that welcomes new technologies and encourages the pursuit of innovative practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create the Foundation Library: Collaborate with Proposal Writers as well as Subject Matter Experts across the company to gather data and author a comprehensive written library of proposal foundation material that clearly and directly communicates the features, benefits, and differentiators of IGT's solutions.
• Maintains the Foundation Library: Participate in proposal process to ensure that content developed and adapted for individual bids is incorporated, where applicable, into Foundation materials and immediately available for future use.
• Competitor Insight: Build a thorough understanding of competitor product material and work with SMEs to clearly articulate IGT’s unique features and benefits within the foundation materials to mitigate competitor positioning and highlight IGT strengths.
• New Technology Adoption: Lead the implementation of new technologies to manage content within the Business Proposals team. Become the “super user” of new Business Proposals tools and support their adoption within the team, as well as being the point person to any third-party provider’s ongoing support team.
  • o Develop technology use allowing bespoke foundation material to be generated for induvial proposals as a first draft.
• Stakeholder Management: Regularly review Foundation material with key stakeholders to ensure that the library is always up to date.
• Compliance: Produce work that adheres to RFP requirements, department standards and conventions.
• Working to Deadlines: Manage multiple priorities at once, track and meet deadlines.
• Team Working: Communicate and collaborate with a variety of individuals with many professional backgrounds.

• Writing Expertise. Has an excellent grasp of the written word, with the ability to adjust tone and style to meet various project needs. Has a high level of reading comprehension and can translate complex ideas and concepts into easily digestible text.

• Strong interest in the use of technology. Ability to evaluate and adopt technologies and keen to be the ambassador and lead user of new tools within the department.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BA/BS, preferably in a major such as Writing, Journalism, Communications, English, or similar. Candidates with equivalent job experience may also be considered.
• In-depth knowledge of the lottery industry (preferred)
• APMP Qualification (desired)
