Position Summary:
The Public Grants Administrator is responsible for managing the implementation, tracking, and execution of government grants and contract deliverables. The Public Grants Administrator will serve as the Title X Administrator and will play a key role in managing and coordinating the Title X grant, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines set forth by the Office of Population Affairs.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage all administrative aspects of the Title X grant, including application process, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Ensure that public grant funds are utilized effectively and in accordance with established guidelines.
  • In collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer, monitors grant activities to ensure compliance with Title X (or other grant) regulations, federal guidelines, and organizations policies. Develop and implement strategies to address any compliance issues that may arise.
  • Provides administrative support for other grant-related activities, including data collection, reporting, and maintaining organized records.
  • Acts as a liaison between departments to ensure cohesive grant management, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and addressing concerns in real-time.
  • Provide non-clinical training and support to staff members involved in Title X grant activities, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities and are equipped to fulfill them effectively.
  • Works with CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and CDO (Chief Development Officer) to evaluate potential grant opportunities, oversee the grant calendar, and ensure timely application and reporting.
  • Attends and participates in all mandatory training and meetings and engages in professional development opportunities.
  • Represent Planned Parenthood Association of Utah professionally with funding partners, community stakeholders, and during public engagements, promoting the organization's mission and services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in grant administration or project management focused roles. Preferably with a focus on Title X or other federally funded programs.
  • Strong project coordination, task tracking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities with proficiency in preparing clear and persuasive written materials.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills; adept at working under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in financial tracking, budget preparation, and administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • In-depth knowledge in federal grant management principles and practices with Title X experience preferred but not required.
  • Actively supports and respects diversity, contributing to an inclusive working and service environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of database management and data analysis tools, with a focus on financial and performance metrics.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Strong commitment to ethical practices and adherence to funding regulations.
The salary for this position is $68k-72K DOE
