Cascade International Foods, Inc.

We are a family-owned trading company focused on frozen fruit sales in the wholesale industry, building for the next generation. We are looking for an employee to join our team who will have split duties between our quality assurance and sales department.

The primary responsibility of the job is to work with customers to ensure documentation needs are met for all products sold. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and has strong communication and customer service skills. The position requires both independent work and collaboration with other departments. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about customer services and has a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Frequently update customers with shipping schedules and periodic inventory position
• Track sample requests and follow through to ensure delivery
• Respond to customer and sales inquiries; liaison with various departments to resolve any customer concerns
• Maintain and update supplier records to ensure all documents and certifications are renewed and up-to-date for customers
• Oversee and maintain Organic Systems Program, including organizing audits, updating supplier's Organic Certification, and act as the liaison for customer questions and needs
• Create, edit, revise, and review product specifications
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Computer proficiency in MS Office
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Experience in Food Safety Program Development
