Job Description

You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (MATERIALS & PROCESSES) in the Contract Oversight Quality Assurance Division, Quality Assurance Department, of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing quality assurance audits or surveillances of quality systems and processes; analyzing quality data to identify deficiencies or negative trends; and generating report of findings to elevate quality program and contract compliance issues found during ship repair and modernization operations.

  • Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position; or
  • Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position; or
