Our QC Technician will be trained to:

• Test finished commercial warming & refrigeration units with temperature/humidity probes, check amperage/wattage, etc.
• Document test results on QC sheets
• Visually inspect units for fit/finish issues
• Correct minor deficiencies
• Escalate major issues to builder/supervisor
• Label units with model labels, warning labels, etc.
• Ensure all optional parts are present
• Keep QC area clean
• Back-up Clean & Pack or other production operations as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic reading, writing and computer literacy.
• Able to use multi-meter and other electrical test equipment.
• Able to read wire diagrams and part prints.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment, professionalism and teamwork skills.
• Ability to use tape measure, basic hand and power tools, wrenches, stud welder, spot welder, drills, grinder, buffer, connector tools
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment, professionalism and teamwork skills.

Physical Demands of this job are:

• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to grasp or touch.
• The employee frequently is required to reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear, or smell.
• The employee occasionally is required to use foot/feet to operate machinery.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move from 10-50 pounds with assistance.
• There are no specific vision requirements for this job.
