Collins Aerospace is looking to hire an ONSITE Quality Manger for the Simpsonville, SC location . In this role you will manage personnel, processes, projects, and testing from a Quality Management position.

This is an ONSITE position in Simpsonville, SC. This role may be eligible for relocation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Adeptly manage a team of experienced Quality & Test professionals.
  • Create Test Plans that meet governmental, customer and industry standard requirements.
  • Work closely with Customers to assure that all requirements are mutually understood.
  • Work closely with internal functional areas including Engineering & Operations to assure that test operations are properly sequenced to assure that product meets requirements.
  • Track, maintain and act on feedback & metrics that indicate departmental & individual performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement including scheduling events through the CORE system.
  • Assist in the processing of Corrective and Preventive actions across the site, as appropriate.
  • Communicate with site and Quality leadership regarding metrics and non-conformances.

  • Communication - Demonstrating the ability to communicate accurately and effectively to accumulate, analyze and distribute actionable information to all levels of the organization and stakeholders.

  • Relationships - Displaying a collaborative attitude when working with others.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams within a complex organizational structure.
  • Deep knowledge of Quality principles and processes including MRB, Quality clinics, PFMEA, MPR, SPC, and AS9100.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fiber Optic experience including design & testing.
  • Collaborative and willing to be fully engage in all aspects of Quality.
  • Deep knowledge of Quality principles and processes including MRB, Quality clinics, PFMEA, MPR, SPC, and AS9100.
  • Must be a dedicated professional committed to providing a positive example, developing a positive culture and completing work on an agreed upon schedule.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
