- Supports and verifies on-going compliance to internal and customer quality standards.
Special Safety Responsibilities (not all positions):
- Receive and understand instruction on safe use and spill control of site hazardous chemicals, wastes, and contingency plans for QA sampling within six months of entering position.
- Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for all use, cleaning, and disposal of hazardous wastes (caustic soda, nitric acid).
- Participate in annual hazardous waste training to ensure proper understanding of all hazardous waste handling, disposal procedures and contingency planning.
- Understand facility emergency and monitoring equipment, waste feed systems, emergency communications, emergency response and shutdown procedures in relation to facility hazardous wastes.
Educational Requirements:
- Prior training and certification of CMM preferred
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, precision measurement, process validation, supplier quality, product testing, training and development, process capability studies, good verbal, and written skills
