Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Rural Carrier Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate rural areas safely and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport mail and packages along designated routes
• Load and unload mail and packages from the vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers and resolving any issues that may arise
• Utilize a manual transmission vehicle and operate a forklift, as needed
• Move packages and mail within the vehicle and to the customer's doorstep
• Navigate rural areas and ensure timely delivery of mail and packages
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may have occurred
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while on the job

Skills:

• Route driving and familiarity with rural areas
• Ability to lift heavy packages and navigate stairs or curbs
• Experience with load/unload and delivery driving
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in operating a van and navigating manual transmission vehicles
• Knowledge of forklift operation and ability to lift heavy packages
• Experience with moving packages and mail
• Ability to operate as a courier, navigating rural areas safely and efficiently
• Physical stamina to perform the duties of the job, including heavy lifting and moving packages.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.38 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
