Avalon Health Care Management, Inc. is seeking a reliable, friendly, and organized Receptionist to join our outstanding corporate team!

Full time

Monday through Friday

$17.00 - $20.00 /hour (pay is based on experience)

Avalon Health Care is looking for a receptionist for the corporate office in Salt Lake City, UT. The receptionist is responsible for providing appropriate office support necessary for an effective, smooth-running operation. Your critical thinking skills, friendly smile, and confident professionalism are needed to answer the main phone line, reply to emails, make travel arrangements, greet visitors, calendar meetings, create security badges, update data bases, run a postage machine, receive and distribute packages and mail, update contact lists, and assist executives as needed. This list is not all inclusive but is meant to reveal what a dynamic and integral part of the team we are looking for.

Major Responsibilities
  • Answer the main telephone line.
  • Greet the public, may assist with marketing.
  • May assist with typing, filing, ancillary input, payroll, distribution of mail, accounts payable, personnel files.
  • Run various office equipment: copiers, printers, computers, and postage machines
  • Create name badges and help with the building security software management
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Make and keep calendar appointments
  • Attend and participate in an orientation, regular training and some educational activities and staff meetings.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to communicate verbally in a positive and professional manner.
  • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to coworkers and guests.
  • Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
  • Experience in Microsoft Outlook is required, and experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is helpful.
  • Basic computer knowledge and an ability and aptitude to learn various software.
  • Must pass drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
  • Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Pay scale is based on experience
