The Recruiter works on a collaborative team including Talent Acquisition Specialists, HR Coordinators, and hiring managers.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS ROLE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

The Recruiter position is responsible for screening applicants, interviewing, working with department managers, and partnering with Talent Acquisition Specialists to develop sourcing plans for their assigned positions. The Recruiter will efficiently guide applicants through the hiring process and will assist throughout a new hire’s first day of employment.


  • Recruitment and Hiring
    • Use applicant tracking system for screening of candidates
    • Manage inquiries and questions from potential job seekers
    • Build and maintain qualified candidate pools to efficiently fill open positions
    • Assist with full cycle hiring process including screening, selecting, scheduling, and interviewing
    • Ensure all recruiting efforts are aligned with the company’s commitment to equity
    • Perform job offers verbally, in writing, and respond to candidate negotiations
    • Follow-up on new hire paperwork with HR Coordinator to ensure all requirements are met
    • Perform reference and professional credential checks
  • Sourcing
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist and hiring managers to create a sourcing plan for assigned positions
    • Identify and participate in community events to connect with active or passive candidates (job fairs, chamber and school events, community groups, etc.)
    • Perform recruitment campaigns through applicant tracking system, direct mail, and other identified sources
    • Maintain professional profiles on social media and build professional networks for assigned business areas
    • Utilize creative sourcing strategies that contribute to building an inclusive and diverse workforce
    • Deliver the best experience to potential candidates, candidates, hiring managers and business leaders
  • Other Duties
    • Participate in internal work groups, meetings and committees relative to position responsibilities
    • Serve as back-up to HR Coordinator for processing post-offer requirements


YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or combination of equivalent education/experience in related field required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred
  • Prior recruitment and human resource experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
  • Experience using industry specific software
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to be flexible in time and task to meet organizational needs
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients, families, caregivers, staff, donors, and organizational intellectual property.
  • Ability to work at various Agrace locations.
  • Ability to use proper body mechanics and standard precautions
