Job Description


Hours: M-F 8:30 am-5:00 pm EST

REMOTE DETAILS: You will work from home, full-time.

It will require a quiet, distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet.

We will provide you with the computer, technology and equipment needed to successfully perform your job.

You will be responsible for providing high-speed internet.

**Must be able to pass pre-employment items required.

Includes drug test (tested back 90 days for illegal drugs) & also a criminal background check.

What Hold Edit - Contract and Billing contributes to Cardinal Health

Contracts and Billing is responsible for finance related activities such as customer and vendor contract administration, customer and vendor pricing, rebates, billing (including drop-ships), processing chargebacks and vendor invoices, developing and negotiating customer and group purchasing contracts.

Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.

Demonstrates experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.

Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.

Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.

Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.


Review outstanding claims that have shipped but not billed due to documentation not being satisfied.

Send out documentation to doctor offices and to customers depending on need.

Outbound phone work to doctor offices as well as customers depending on need.

Review account holistically to determine hold reasons & course of action.

Validate information in account and correct for billing/EDI purposes.

Track trends and provide feedback to other areas of the business to better the billing flow.

Maintain timely filing Write Off’s for outstanding claims that have shipped but not billed.


HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred

1+ years’ experience in related field (RX Experience preferred)

This job is to be performed entirely outside of Colorado.

Rating of “Meets Expectations” or higher during last performance review

Have been in their current position for at least a year

Informed their current supervisor/manager prior to applying

No written disciplinary action in the last year
