Salary Range: $48,618- $59,054

Essential Functions and Objectives:

Serve as the account manager between the Office of Choice & Enrollment Services and schools, inclusive of traditional schools, and charter schools within their assigned region.

Responsible for communication, processing and tuition information during the school year by working with schools, parents/guardians and other central district departments.

Area of responsibility will be focused on a DPS region and/or school type.

Responsible for the entire enrollment and application process, including application, and communication within assigned region.

Utilizing enrollment, waitlist, and trend data, assign students to appropriate schools throughout the various cycles of the year.

Serve as the main point of contact for schools and parents/guardians to ensure timely and accurate enrollment.

Ensure completeness and accuracy of data processing for District and external funding sources.

Meet targets for processing cycle times and approval rates.

Meet financial targets for tuition based revenue (parent and tuition credit billing).

Uphold a high level of parent communication, including letters, community events, school events, and verbal/written communications.

Collaborate as an ongoing partner with assigned schools, including ongoing training on enrollment process.

Increase school leadership and staff awareness of the Office of Choice & Enrollment Services process, particularly as it relates to fiscal impact and parent experience.

Improve the parent and school staff experience related to enrollment application processing.

Provide advice and feedback to management on possible improvements to the Office of Choice & Enrollment Services processes.

Generate and review school based information to include, application cycle times, percentages of complete/incomplete applications, and current and forecasted billing and revenue.

Manage the escalation process to raise and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Serve as the subject matter expert for District enrollment policies and procedures including, school boundaries, Office of Choice &Enrollment Services, Early Education programs, and schools and programs within assigned region.

Maintain frequent ongoing contact with schools through in-person visits, email, and telephone calls.

Plan, control, and organize tasks for all assigned schools, to ensure compliance with application processing needs and goals.

Research student application status using multiple systems and departments to improve parent and school customer experience.

Update Office of Choice & Enrollment Services databases, generate data reports, and manipulate data as needed.

Maintain both the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information.

Manage the waitlist process for assigned schools and work with schools to keep schools filled to capacity, while following the rules laid out by SchoolChoice in terms of filling seats.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

Two (2) years of work experience in education, enrollment or application processing.

Strong planning, organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.

Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and skill with Google applications Familiarity with Infinite Campus preferred.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Strong customer service focus, responsive to client concerns.

Ability to problem solve.

Strong communicative and critical thinking skills.

Knowledge of Infinite Campus and/or large databases tools preferred.

Valid Colorado Driver’s License, appropriate insurance coverage and acceptable driving record for the past three years.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
