Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our dynamic team in a cutting-edge research laboratory in circadian biology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various research projects related to biochemistry, cell and molecular biology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, execution, and data analysis of experiments related to circadian gene expression from transcription to post-translational processing/modifications.
- Perform various molecular biology techniques, including RT-qPCR, RNA-seq, Western blotting, Mass spectrometry...
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities, including data collection and experimental results.
- Participate in the development and implementation of research protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with researchers and other laboratory personnel to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Participate in the management and organization of laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to laboratory safety protocols.
Skills:
- Strong background in molecular and cellular biology, especially protein.
- Familiar with various molecular biology techniques as mentioned above.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced research environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
