Digital Commerce Operations is the global managed services arm of Accenture Song’s Commerce Practice. You Are

The Retail Account Manager is a go-getter with strong (consumer product) account management and selling skills. You’re an expert at working with the Client and no one knows them better than you! You know how to develop/manage relationships and believe in being memorable. You know what it takes to collaborate effectively between buyers, analysts & brands ensuring flawless program execution. The Retail Account Manager lives and breathes retail and is extremely detail orientated.

The Work:

  • Act as a liaison between our brand partners and retail client ensuring first class communication.
  • Manage all skus and lead forecasting, inventory flow and reporting efforts.
  • Coordinate new item set up and imaging process.
  • Pull and analyze weekly sales data and communicate insights & trends.
  • On behalf of the brand partner, work with your Sales Manager on executing the multi-channel strategy.
  • Lead all new vendor set-up on behalf of our brand partners.
  • Working with Sales Managers and the creative team to build merchandising solutions for our vendor partners.
  • Ensure delivery of creative assets to vendors and/or retail client.
  • Coordinate with third party vendors: store signage, merchandising, research and in-store training etc.
  • Assist the brand in managing the supply chain process.
  • Coordinate sample requests and delivery.
  • Constantly analyze brand performance and suggest/execute ways to improve
  • Participation in weekly company product/brand evaluation.
  • Manage and coordinate collect transportation process with key vendors
  • Other duties as assigned

Here's what you need:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a retail account manager

    or related experience

Bonus points if:

  • Strong understanding of retail systems including Retail Link and Luminate
  • You have a strange love for recaps, spreadsheets, word docs and presentations
  • You take pride in doing awesome work.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • You are action and detail oriented.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and think creatively.


Travel Requirements:

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.

Colorado $63,200 to $169,300

District of Columbia $67,300 to $180,300

New York $58,500 to $196,000

Maryland $58,500 to $156,800
