Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, handling cash transactions, and assisting with various retail tasks.
Duties:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Operate cash registers and handle cash register functions
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in technical sales, retail sales, or customer service is preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and basic retail math calculations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of wireless sales or jewelry sales is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with patience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
