Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive store environment. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills and build a successful career in a fast-paced and competitive industry. Tuesday through Saturday work week.

Duties:

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and helping them find the products they need.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the products and services offered by the store, and be able to provide accurate information to customers.
• Utilize strong sales skills to identify and pursue sales opportunities, and make recommendations to customers.
• Operate POS cash register efficiently and accurately, handling cash and credit transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment by stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and performing other duties as required.
• Participate in product demos and assist customers with product inquiries.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Utilize effective phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the store.

Experience:
Ideal candidates will have experience in retail sales, with a strong background in customer service and cash handling. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience in using a cash register is essential.

Skills:

• Proficiency in basic math and retail math.
• Experience with cash handling and operating a POS cash register.
• Strong sales skills and the ability to sell products effectively a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to demonstrate products and answer customer questions.
• Strong product knowledge a plus but not needed and the ability to learn quickly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
