We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to become an integral part of our team. We are a dynamic startup retail store specializing in crystals and candles. The ideal candidate will encompass various tasks of opening the store, managing inventory, customer service, sales, light manufacturing or product preparation. It implies that the person is capable of handling multiple aspects of the business, which is essential in a startup environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing knowledgeable and personalized recommendations on crystals, candles, and other products.
• Store Operations: Open and close the store, ensuring that everything is ready for business each day. Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing store environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory counts. Ensure all products are displayed attractively and appropriately labeled.
• Sales: Drive sales by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and promoting products that align with their interests. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, including their benefits, uses, and origins, to effectively educate and assist customers.
• Manufacturing: Assist in the light manufacturing or preparation of certain products, such as candles or crystal kits, as needed.
• Community Engagement: Help organize and participate in in-store events, workshops, or classes related to wellness, crystals, and candles.

Qualifications:

• A passion for crystals, candles, and wellness products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to lift and move inventory as needed.
• POS system retail math.
