TCU FLORIST is a large flower shop located in the TCU area of Fort Worth. We get a variety of sales through our website, phone sales and in person. We sell flowers, plants, gifts and gourmet baskets and deliver through out the metroplex. Some flower/plant knowledge is helpful. One of your responsibilities will be to process flowers and plants, so must be able to carry heave buckets of water and large boxes of flowers. Would love to find someone who is proficient in social media marketing. Must be reliable and work well with others. Holidays are busy and you will be expected to work more hours.

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

*Responsibilities*

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product selection and inquiries

- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately

- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor

- Assist in restocking merchandise and monitoring inventory levels

- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities

- Demonstrate product knowledge and promote current sales and promotions

- Process Flowers and Plants

*Requirements*

- Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions

- Excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries

- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred

- Bilingual skills are a plus

- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently

- Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction

- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and discounts

- Supervisory experience is beneficial for potential growth opportunities

- Familiarity with stock management practices

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
