Team Introduction
Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. As a Risk Management Program Manager, you will be part of a team consisting of policy managers, investigation ops, and program managers to drive cross-functional collaboration in the design and management of projects to ensure balance between growth and sustainability of the platform in each market.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the operational success of Seller and Listing Governance by actively participating in the evolution of our business and risk management capabilities.
  • Display a strong grasp of risk management by effectively navigating challenging conversations with leadership teams and driving risk-based decision-making and accountability.
  • Be a connection point across key stakeholder groups.
  • Lead cross-functional teams during business or service disruptions.
  • Report on business impact and severity based on investigations and data analysis.
  • Help prioritize competing business needs and communicate them effectively to Product teams, influencing the product roadmap to meet stakeholder requirements and support business strategy.
  • Organize and conduct planning, training, and practice drills for risk teams to ensure they are ready for any potential incidents.
  • Coordinate post-incident findings with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement strategies and new policies to improve processes and reduce risk at scale.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing Masters degree
  • Eager to learn and become proficient in company infrastructure, policies, products, tools, systems, and data.
  • Demonstrated interest in program management, including planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ability to use data and metrics to measure impact and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to clearly communicate at all leadership levels.
  • Sets and strives to achieve ambitious goals, measuring success through tangible outcomes and key performance indicators.
  • Maintains composure under pressure, facilitating open communication to address and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves challenges, using a resourceful and creative problem-solving approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in consumer product safety, risk management, compliance, or regulatory research fields.
  • Interest in coordinating complex incidents within a highly intricate environment, such as multi-national corporations.
  • Demonstrates ownership and a proactive attitude; self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure to solve problems and achieve objectives.
  • Comfortable managing through ambiguity, making thoughtful and sound decisions.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $125400 - $139333 annually.



Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
