The Roadside Service Tech I- Tow is responsible for providing safe and best in class roadside solutions for AAA members while ensuring positive member experiences in a tow vehicle. Tow Technicians are responsible for responding to member requests for service within a given ETA (estimated time of arrival). They ensure member safety and vehicle security, educate members on possible issues, provide jump starts, replace flat tires, present vehicle entries and other related services. Provides minor mechanical assistance (if trained and equipped) in attempt to get member's vehicle on-the-go instead of tow. If not successful, then tow disabled vehicles to repair facilities or other member requested destinations; promote AAA products and services; ensure complete resolution of member issues. This position is also responsible for providing safe and world class on-the-go roadside service solutions for AAA members and to ensure positive member experiences in a Tow Service Vehicle, while achieving performance standards and member satisfaction rates.
Shift: Wednesday-Saturday 2:00PM-12:30AM
Compensation: $22.00 - $24.75 / hour base pay, plus full benefits & incentive pay. Additional $2.50 per hour overnight differential on any hours worked between 10pm and 6am. Additional $1.50 per hour evening differential for any hours worked between 6pm and 10pm. Additional $1 per hour differential for working weekend hours. Differentials can be combined.

High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience
At least 21 years of age Required and Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity of electrical troubleshooting Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
Active and valid driver’s license issued by only one state or jurisdiction Required and Satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check during pre-hire screening and periodically during employment in accordance with policy Required
