Sales Associate in Detroit (Ferndale)

The Sales Team plays a key role in our company’s overall goal of creating modern, handmade everyday and fine jewelry through ethical sourcing, local craftsmanship and meaningful relationships.

We are looking for someone who is excited to learn about jewelry and loves creating great customer experiences. They understand the value of remembering people's names, and take pride in their organization skills, thoughtfulness and attention to detail.

The Position

This position is a great opportunity to work in a creative fast paced company. You will work alongside our sales team to share the story of handmade jewelry made in our Detroit studio. A strong focus on customer relationships, elevating experiences and great communication is a must. You will guide our customers through the Forever Linked experience and help them create the perfect, customized piece of jewelry. You will keep the store neat and organized, this includes general cleaning and stocking as well as collaborating on merchandising projects.

An appreciation of craft and design and a steady hand is important and a familiarity with jewelry is a big bonus, but not required.

Quick Facts

Time Commitment: Part-time 20-25 hrs per week - Must work 3-4 Saturdays per month

Helpful Experience

Genuinely enjoy working with people and making great first impressions

Having a background in jewelry is a huge plus, but not required

Have great communication and strong organizational skills

Take direction well and work well with a variety of team members and customers

Knowledge of google suite preferred

Shopify Pos experience is a huge plus, but not required

Roles & Responsibilities

Share our story with new & existing customers

Keep our customers informed and engaged by creating relationships

Sell jewelry to customers

Guide our customers through the Forever Linked experience

Create customized Forever Linked jewelry for our customers

Help merchandise the store when needed

Clean the jewelry and make sure it is presentable to customers

Keep the store and shared spaces clean

Keep all spaces organized, stocked and well maintained
