Job Description

Cranberry Home Care has an immediate opening for a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team!

This position will be Monday-Friday, 8:30-4 in our Middleboro, MA office.

The right candidate must have great telephone skills, be able to multi-task, have strong problem solving and organizational skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Scheduling Coordinator carries out various functions, such as:

  • Arrange and maintain schedules for a given caseload of clients that are in line with client care plans and availability of Caregivers.
  • Receiving and building new client schedules based off contracted hours, promptly filling clients schedule with best suited Caregiver to ensure a smooth entry.
  • Scanning schedule daily, updating and sending out PDF for available upcoming shifts to all caregivers.
  • Handling Caregiver call outs and time off requests by filling and or finding coverage.
  • Following up with clients and Caregivers to inform them of any changes such as cancellations, fill ins, and/or time alterations while adhering to scheduling policies
  • Build a professional relationship with Clients and Caregivers to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Documenting and noting phone conversations and email correspondences in WellSky system.
  • Responsible for properly entering Client and Caregiver information into WellSky platform and updating it should any changes arise such as upcoming client appointments, schedule change/time alterations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills; implementing a seamless communication flow both externally and internally.
  • Handling office tasks such as checking the mail, data entry, ordering office supplies, etc.
  • Being comfortable using Microsoft Office Programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Being the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must have good interpersonal skills, must be a people-person and easy to approach.
  • Must be detail orientated and organized.
  • Ability to multi-task, and problem solve.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize in the face of multiple tasks and or duties.
  • Should have a good knowledge and understanding of customer care ethics.
  • Must attend team/staff meetings as required.
  • College degree in business or psychology preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 years of home care scheduling and office experience is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
