Job Description:
Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student development
Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional abilities and challenges
Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students’ occupational therapy needs
Education and Certification Requirements:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Nevada
Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
