What This Position is All About

As a General Warehouse Associate you will perform various warehouse functions, such as unloading, sorting, loading, and receiving merchandise. You will be part of a dynamic, fast-moving, team, playing an integral part in the overall shipping and receiving operation.

• Work independently but can easily assist team members as needed
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

You Also Have:

• Open to learning and developing new skills and processes
• Ability to use and/or learn a RF Scanner
• Ability to work a pre-set schedule
• Good computer skills with an ability to learn Warehouse Management Systems
• Ability to operate manual pallet jack
• Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift/pull/push up to 50 lbs. repetitively

As A General Warehouse Associate, You Will:

• Perform all functions of the department including but not limited to processing, material handling, and problem resolution
• Accurately ticket merchandise
• Perform floor ready processes (sensoring, hanging, etc)
• Perform pick and pack functions
• Processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately
• Unboxing and preparing merchandise from various vendors
• Verify merchandise is received correctly
• Build and/or wrap pallets
• Clear jams on conveyors
• Receipt and distribution of inbound freight to full-line stores
• Accurately sort cartons to pallets or conveyors
• Retrieval and loading of outbound freight to stores
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards

Salary and Other Compensation:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
